For the months of February and March I’m offering free somatic coaching sessions to those who are interested.
Somatic Coaching is a holistic, client-centered approach that combines depth processing, somatic awareness and action-focused practices. Through the clarity of mindfulness-based work and the power of body-based techniques, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of your unique nervous system and the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations. This enhanced self-awareness empowers you to recognize patterns and triggers in a way that leads to more effective self-regulation and personal growth, not to mention more self-compassion.
The focus of somatic coaching is less on the past and where these responses and beliefs came from and more on how they show up and impact you today. In our sessions we’ll work with mind-body practices to cultivate a greater capacity within your nervous system to be with your present moment experience - to stay awake and aware of what you’re sensing, thinking and feeling. Through this process, you’ll gradually expand your capacity to tolerate mental fluctuations and physical sensations, ultimately aiding your nervous system in becoming more resilient and aiding you in becoming more balanced, connected and effective in your life.
